BEST OVEN BAKED SUBS the BEST, pizza off the chain and o my the sweet tea is great too

Saw reviews on Yelp and decided to give them a try on a Saturday night while we were on our way to Savannah. Real close to I-95 was a bonus. We arrived at 6:15, restaurant was maybe 25% full. No special decor, not cramped at all, nice big booths. Bathrooms were single use, absolutely spotless and well lit. Typical Greek menu. My wife and I split the "Greek dinner". A gyro with a Greek salad, we added potatoes also. My kids split a medium cheese pepperoni pizza. Our waitress was easily in her 60's, maybe 70, and was awesome. Other waitstaff was older than normal. It's just different conversation with an older staff, so homey and welcoming. She brought drinks immediately and our salad was maybe 5 minutes later. She brought an extra plate (a good thing, as my wife and I often split meals, very often we have to remind the waitstaff about the extra plate, not so here....it's the little things) We got the house dressing, salad was ample for one, just right when we split it. The gyro and pizza arrived 10 minutes after the salad. Pizza was simple (we only got two toppings), tasty and the crust was light and very crisp. She kept our glasses filled and checked back often. Two adults, two kids, our bill was $26, about average. Made nice chitchat at the register. We are never down this way, but if ever is the case, we would come here again. Good little stop.

If you are passing through ...order at this local place and pick up. This was indeed Greek style pizza. Tasty greasy... and crisp crusts. They also have baclava. Oddly they don't have a Greek pizza...or any planned pizza. Just your pick of toppings. 5 veggies and 6 or 7 meats. Great great house Greek salad. Friendly staff and service.

Greek-style pizza is either good, or not good. Dimitrio's House of Pizza is quite good. This is NOT NYC style pizza. Greek-style is the pizza most commonly found near Boston and all over New England. I saw the billboard on I-95 and decided to investigate to see it was a proper House of Pizza. Dimitrio's is definitely worth stopping by if you are coming from the upper side of I-95 and (blank's) House of Pizza gives you the warm fuzzies when you see the sign. It passed the fresh pizza test, the cold pizza test and the reheated test a few hours later. Win Win...
